The Bridge Worm will sometimes venture far from its nest if prey is hard to come by, instinctually hunting at night and in abandoned areas to avoid discovery. An internet urban legend creatures that were created by the Canadian horror artist, Trevor Henderson as part of the Trevor Henderson Mythos on August 14, 2019, until a drawing of the creature started spreading on the internet, on which it is written "Bridge Worm", giving the creature its name. As their name implies, the Bridge Worms tend to lair beneath bridges and other overpasses. They are known for using fake faces to lure their prey and then eat them when it was too late.

The Bridge Worm is a long scary-like entity that is known for hiding under long interstate highway bridges. However, it has been found to hide under small bridges, supposedly using a safe house tactic to travel long distances without being spotted (However this claim has no evidence of being true). The entities' arms are long, at a recorded distance of 9 feet. It has bone-like fingers, similar to humans but is far more flexible. It has two sets, one at the back and one at the front. It can be female.

It uses a flap of flesh to trick prey which has a fake 'face' that has small, black, tiny slits for it's 'eyes' and a small, but neutral facial expression 'mouth', which makes it approachable. Underneath the flap, it reveals a horrific grin on its face with 36 human-like teeth. The nose is similar to a human's underneath the skin, proving the fact that the flap is its skin. The tissue on The Bridge Worm's 'real face' is cellular near-identical to humans, but has some flaws. The eyes of The Bridge Worms are extremely misaligned and disorienting as they bounce around while running. Usually, this fake flap peels back like an eyelid when chasing someone, it is also semi-transluscent, which is the reason they can see from it. Bridge Worms also instinctually hunt at night inside tunnels or on bridges.

In adult form, they become Highway Worms.

In the drawing, it is suggested that the Bridge Worm has a false face and that underneath its innocent-looking white face, hides its much more sinister real face. The real face of the Bridge Worm is revealed to the public, which appears to be a fleshy-muscular sharp-toothed creature. The Bridge Worm ended up possibly consuming the photographer. Trevor said that the camera was found in a pile of acidic fecal matter which was intermingled with the remains of the photographer. Once the news broke, the question of what the Bridge Worm is started to spread.

"Whether or not The Bridge Worm can be captured and/or terminated is unknown. Best to stay away from what you cannot recognize rather than approach the depths of the mysterious."

  • An old photo of one of the Giants jumping on a road is heavily implied to be the adult version of the Bridge Worm, though it does lack several features such as the arms and defined face seen in Trevor's new illustration of an adult Bridge Worm.
  • When asked what will happen if poked in the eye, Trevor replied with "It will bite and attack.
  • When asked how would one kill The Bridge Worm, Trevor said that nobody has killed it yet, but you could "always try, good luck."
  • The Bridge Worm's fake face flips straight back, kind of like flipping an eyelid back. Lays flat to the forehead / first part of the body. It’s semi transparent from the underside, like one-way glass, that is how it can see even when it's real face is covered by it's fake one.
  • Trevor was asked on why does The Bridge Worm cover itself with it's fake face if it adds nothing to it's hunting strategy, he replied by stating that it’s a stunted evolutionary tactic for facial mimicry that doesn’t work that well
