Goblin Sharks are benthopelagic creatures that inhabit upper continental slopes, submarine canyons, and seamounts throughout the world at depths greater than 100 m (330 ft), with adults found deeper than juveniles. Some researchers believe that these sharks could also dive to depths of up to 1,300 m (4,270 ft), for short periods of time.
The inspiration for this creature is quite rare, as it is inspired by the deep sea creature of the goblin shark, they can extend their jaw to a freakish length.
On the website linked right here : https://neal.fun/deep-sea/ They are rarely encountered at the depth of 1308 meters deep but are mostly found higher.-jackdavdal
They give their nickname "Living Fossils" because they're the only living species of a lineage that has lived for 125 million years.
