Suburbs at Dusk is a grotesque creature made by artist Trevor Henderson. Its incredibly unique and strange appearance allow it to easily stand out from other Giants.
Appearance[]
Suburbs At Dusk depicted as a gigantic, grotesque silhouette of a quadrupedal creature. The interesting detail about this creature is that it’s entire body appears to be made out hundreds, even thousands of large connected tendrils, possibly made out of bones.
We can see that it has four thick legs that slowly diverge into even more tendrils, almost like the roots of a plant. Its torso resembles a rib cage belonging to that of an animal, and at the back of this torso are hundreds of outward-spreading tendrils that reach up to the clouds, but do not pierce it. Its main body region is disproportionately short when compared to the rest of its body due to lacking a neck, or even a head for that matter.
Comparing the entity’s height to the trees next to it in the image, we can estimate it to be about 101 feet or 31.02 meters
Behavior and Origins[]
The creature’s massive size and unique appearance lends credence to it being a member of The Giants. If this is the case, it also arrived via a second Moon and did so before the Giants became aggressive, as the caption refers to the creature’s location nonchalantly, implying the creature was still docile and a part of daily life during the time that the photo was taken.
Due to the creature’s stiff, bony appearance and that it does not seem to possess any long and flexible tentacles, we can assume that it does not collect worthy humans for Heaven and it’s only purpose is to kill unworthy humans and destroy properties.
Abilities[]
It’s enormous scale is obviously an asset of the creature’s abilities, however, we cannot observe many other unique abilities of this Giant. It may be able to shift and transform it’s bones around to adjust to it’s environment; similarly to The Angel, and also have some sort of ability to defy gravity, as it has decreasingly large legs that would not be able to support it’s weight whatsoever. This trait has also been observed in other Giants, like The Bird Watcher.
