|“||Rumour was the old shopping plaza was a cover for an underground bunker, used for weird government experiments. It was abandoned and sealed up, but kids would break in, and word got out about the ‘ghosts’ they’d hear. Truthfully, I’m not sure that’s what they were at all.||„|

The Humanoid Robot is, as the name suggests, a human-like robot that is comprised of a number of wires and pieces of metal. The creature has two sharp metal shards on what would have been its hands, presumably used for clawing. What would be the head of the robot is replaced with a small metal ball with a single red light, which is most likely its “eye”.
From what we can tell from the caption, the robot is some sort of government experiment that was conducted in an underground bunker disguised as a rundown shopping plaza. It’s possible that the government was attempting to create a sentient robot that can move on it’s own. The purpose of the robot, however, is still currently unknown. It may have been made as a security unit, where it would kill or capture unwanted people who sneak into the secret bunker.
Another interesting detail to note is that the caption states that people believed that it was a ghost that was haunting the abandoned plaza, which may suggest that paranormal activity was involved in it’s creation. This is further evident by the small detail of the robot’s shadow. It’s shadow appears to be facing to the right, while the robot itself is actually facing the left. This could mean that the robot may have some sort of shadow manipulation ability.
- It is the first known robotic creature drawn by Trevor Henderson.
