It was a a cold winter night out on the job with my coworker, Dans, I have to spend the night as a guard for the town, as quite a few people have gone missing here in the town of Malison, so the local government took actions and have put out guards to keep a close eye. Although this night felt different, we only saw a few guards rather than the usual. After a bit a man came by, asking for help as he saw someone go in his backyard, I followed him while Dans decided to look out the front incase if this trespasser tried running away. But while I was following the man I noticed that he was acting strangely positive. People here in Malison are more confined and less socialable due to the cases. When I got to his yard I asked what the man looked like. But he didn't respond and only stood in place with his back turned on me. I tried asking him if he can atleast give a description. Still no answer. I said to him, "if you're not gonna answer my questions sir, we won't be able to help you". And I put my hand on his shoulder. He turned to me and glared into my eyes. I asked "is there something wr-" suddenly part of his face melted, I took a step back. Then his arm twist and turn with an awful noise. I was shook. And suddenly he charged towards me! I ran away and Dans rushed into the yard. I heard a couple of bangs. Roaring and flesh stretching resounded through the neighbourhood. I was worried. But Dans returned without a scratch and I was relieved.. I said to him " What happened out there?!" Dans told for me to see it myself. So I rushed back into the scene. But I was horrified and saw

Dans lying dead on the floor..

My face froze, and suddenly.

Something tapped me on the back, I turned and a flesh like creature faced me. Before I had time to react it snatched me and pulled on my limbs as I struggled, and tussled. My ligaments popped and stretched, I shouted out "HELP!" And turned my head to the other houses. But all the windows were covered and not a response came. And realized no one was gonna help me. And my arms and legs only kept stretching and stretching. And In my final moments, I whispered to my self. "What a fool I am.." And the sound of a sharp tear followed..

It was a weary day for me and my family on the farm. The rest have already settled in for the night, I had to finish fixing up the equipment first. I looked up in the sky and saw the sky was completely covered by cloud so I pulled out my handy flashlight, I checked on the crops, but something was missing. Our greatest pumpkin isn't there anymore. I was confused, but that was something to worry about next day. I pushed the wheel barrow to the barn but whilst I was walking I heard rustling in the thick forest, And thought, maybe it was just a wolf. I opened the great doors of the barn and pointed out my flashlight into it, everyone of our livestock was missing, I could see blood trails leading to the very end of the barn. I walked slowly and cautiously, with the smell of blood in my nose. But then found the pumpkin laying right there. And thought to myself, they must've harvested it for the winter. I looked closer but suddenly..

It uprooted right infront of me. It had almost a humanoid shape, it turned to me and showed it vicious teeth, stained with blood. I was shook and ran as fast as I could. I reached my car and rushed in. I shoved the kry into the start and turned and turned, it was stalling.. I looked out the window and saw it rushing towards me. I kept turning and It had finally started. I drove off into the road. I was relieved. But still heard the faint stomps of the creature. I shine my flashlight into the back window and saw it was still following, running after me. In response I pulled up the gear and stepped on the gas. I looked back again and it was slowly fading into the dark as I bolted away. I look back into my frint view and there was a sharp sudden turn. I quickly steered right but it set my car spinning. I fell and tried to regain control. But it crashed right in the side of a tree. I tried going out but it seemed the engine was down. So I quickly went out of the car and ran into the forest. I turned off my flashlight and looked into the road, I waited for a few minutes and it seemed that it was clear. My head was spinning, I felt exhausted and afraid. And the situation got into my head. What if it ate my family? I was thinking some of the worst but heard a twig snap behind me. I quickly turned back and shined my flashlight. But in terror I saw it right there. Before I had time to react It snatched me and held me in its hand while it stared into my eyes. It's grip suddenly became firmer and firmer, I was struggling and let out cries and begged for mercy. But it still stood there. Peering in my soul whilst I was being crushed. And then.. SNAP.

(P.S. For this one I tried using a more painted look kinda more realistic. Comment what you?think about the style and say if I should stick with this type or not, Thanks for reading!)

"Me and Chief Brian we're staying up late at the station tonight, it was. Oddly foggy. we were trying to find clues on a recent case about a young adult getting missing in an abandoned building. Chief Brian: "I wonder how the building isn't knocked down yet, who knows what our local mayor is even doing in this small town"

Me: "The mayor has been away for awhile, bout' three months. Haven't you hear-" (Chief interrupted me and pointed straight at the window with his eyes wide), I took a glance. It was some sort of creature. It was gigantic, and its pitch black eyes stared into the building with a curious look, Chief was panicking and instinctively pulled out the shotgun on his back and shot at it right through the window. It growled a low and visceral tone. And suddenly its mouth, opened up grotesquely, it's joints cracking unsettlingly. We were both in shock. And suddenly..

CRASHH, a harpoon like tendril crashed through the window and right through chief's head. Spilling every bit of his brain behind him. it pulled back in a snap and swallowed him whole. I jolted in an instant, whilst I was processing everything. And I was heading down to the exit, while hearing the organic sound of the tendril pacing up with me, after a tiring sprint, I could see the exit, I ran as fast as I could, I reached up to the handle but then..

SNAP, I looked down and saw it pierced through my chest in an instant. Pulling me back fast as it could, I screamed, I cried, I clawed at any object that would hold me. But it all failed. When I was finally at the outskirts of its gaping mouth It slowly pulled me in, almost taunting my defeat. I looked into its ever so breadthly mouth. And saw.

The face of each of its victims, plastered onto almost every surface of its mouth, with each face frozen in their last expression before death, and realized,

I was going to be part of it...

(P.S.: Im sorry if its been a bit but, I am very grateful that you people are still keeping this wiki alive even if some of the posts are repetitive, gives me a nice sense of community here. Thanks, and more stuff is coming soon so yeah.)

We apologize for interrupting your local programming.

A new anomaly has recently surfaced. It is called Lantern Head.

Looking much like a streetlight, but with arms and legs, Lantern Head has a glowing ‘bulb’ that lights up during the night.

There are more than one of them. We know this because one of them was found dead recently, then more sightings continued to surface. They often stay away from each other, the closest recorded territory being around 1 mile apart.

They always live nearby streetlights, looking the exact same from afar.

Upon further inspection, the beast was seen to be around 20 feet tall, with a small chute near the bulb that it absorbs food from.

Its bulb attracts insects and then sucks them up with the chute, but it is not against eating larger animals.

It is also theorized that these creatures are able to halt their growth, allowing them to look the same size as a lamp post.

Here’s how to survive a Lantern Head:

1: Do Not go outside or near any streetlights. If you must go outside, go in a car or other vehicle. This stops you from being easy prey.

2: Check for any unusual things (like constantly flashing streetlights, one streetlight taller/shorter than the rest, or odd sucking/inhaling/breathing sounds)

3: If you do see these signs, turn off all of your lights, tell your neighbors not to go outside, and contact the police.

4: Do Not attempt to interact with any creatures. They can be fast if they need to.
